Procurement Expert diploma gives me the right to conduct professional activities in the field of expertise and consulting in Procurement to meet state, municipal and corporate needs.
Worked on joint venture projects between Rosneft and ExxonMobil in 2014. Was Procurement Supervisor at ExxonMobil until 2022. Also worked at KPMG (the Big Four of Consulting), where created purchasing strategies by category for the leader of the mining and metallurgical industry in Russia, and managed consultants team.
My first independent consulting project done in 2016. Helped a small production company stay afloat and was inspired to help businesses solve procurement problems.

Lucky to be born in a good family in mid 80th and grew up in Sevastopol. Few years in a row in high school I won economic theory competitions and graduated from school with a golden medal.

First position in procurement as a Category Manager in distribution of construction materials I obtained after two years of working as an auditor in automotive business as I majored in economics. After two years I changed the industry to Solar Power plants construction as a local materials purchasing lead.
Relocated to Moscow in 2014 and a few months I worked as a procurement specialist for Joint Ventures between ExxonMobil and Rosneft oil companies. After sanctions announced in 2014 joint projects started the wind down operations and I started a new job in consulting (Big4).

In KPMG as a Senior Consultant I developed procurement strategies for main purchasing materials for the leader in metals and mining industry in Russia. Great experience and high pressure time.
ExxonMobil headhunted me back in 2015 for wind down operation and I stayed for years. Supported multiple projects and business as a procurement specialist in Russia - Sakhalin-1 oil production, exploration activities, Mobil brand promotion.

Built a career to a managerial position in Procurement to provide team support, push optimizations and changes. Ended services provision to ExxonMobil in 2024 as a liquidation team member to close businesses in Russia.

Raw material for pipes production was recommended by a Chinese production line manufacturer. Raw material was purchased from the wholesale supplier in Russia and imported from China. Convenient logistics and a high purchasing price.

High production costs were not covered by the sale price on a high competition marketplace. As a result financial losses, “monkey business”.
Case specific:
Procurement strategy for a basic purchasing material for a small enterprise, polypropylene pipes production in Crimea.
Procurement strategy developed for the main material purchase
Technical characteristics and purchases volume analysis conducted. The first line of the strategy: alternative suppliers in Russia, raw material independent logistics from China. The economic effectiveness did not show more than 10% of savings.
The second line of the strategy: analogue of the raw material identification, analogue CIS producers, as well as manufacturers and suppliers from Russia. Market analysis and manufacturer analysis conducted, followed by a tender between major market players, including supply chain calculations and a few rounds of price negotiations. Procurement and purchase business process has been changed. The best supplier of polypropylene in Russia identified.
